2024

With over 190 outlets spanning four countries (India, Canada, USA, and Australia), JBV is on track to surpass 200 outlets by March 2025 and is gearing up to expand into the UK and New Zealand soon! Team JBV extends heartfelt gratitude to its customers and franchise partners for their unwavering support over the past 26 years.

Thanks to the relentless efforts of its Export Division, JBV has successfully shipped more than 50 reefer containers to Canada, the USA, and Australia.

2023

JBV entered the USA market in mid-May 2023 and is now delighting customers at 8 locations, with several more outlets set to open soon.

With feedback and support from its valued Customers, JBV has evolved into more than just a Vadapav brand. Today, it caters to the diverse palates of South Indian and North Indian customers, offering a wide range of fast-food items to satisfy every taste bud.

2022

Inspired by the growing trend of snack bars and cafés, Mr. Kishansingh Rajput took JBV to the next level by launching premium outlets. In January 2022, JBV introduced three premium outlets under the brand name "Jay Bhavani Snacks Bar & Café" at Science City Road and Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad.

The remarkable success of JBV’s venture in Canada created a global buzz for the brand. By the end of December 2022, JBV proudly opened its first outlet in Australia, located in Canberra.

2021

Amidst the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jay Bhavani Vadapav Pvt. Ltd. marked a significant milestone in October 2021 by opening its first international outlet in Etobicoke, Toronto, Canada.

2020

The COVID-19 pandemic caused JBV to drop below the 150-outlet mark, but the brand resiliently bounced back, breaking boundaries beyond India to embark on its international journey.

2019

Jay Bhavani Vadapav had surpassed the 151-outlet milestone and was rapidly expanding.

2018

Jay Bhavani Vadapav ventured beyond Gujarat by opening its first out-of-state outlet, marking its 101st location in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

2015

A team of professionals joined forces to propel the Jay Bhavani Vadapav brand to new heights.

2014

The year 2014 marked a significant milestone for Jay Bhavani Vadapav, as the company took its first big leap by transitioning its company-owned outlet in Palanpur to a franchise for the very first time.

2012

Following the resounding success of the Anandnagar outlet, JBV expanded further by opening four additional outlets in Bopal, Bodakdev, Vastrapur, and Gurukul.

2008

Among four brothers, Mr. Kishan Singh Rajput opened his own outlet in Anand Nagar, a move that made history and played a pivotal role in building the brand to the renowned level it enjoys today.

2004

What began as a roadside cart evolved into the opening of Jay Bhavani Vadapav’s first outlet near GLS College in Ahmedabad, marking the start of a never-ending journey for the brand.

2000

Adopted a business strategy by acquiring the vadapav business van of a competitor who had set up right across from their location.

1998

In the spring of 1998, Jay Bhavani first opened their food cart at Municipal Market, C.G.Road, Ahmedabad, with a capital investment of Rs. 5,000, where they sold Vadapav at Rs.4 per piece.

1994

4 brothers come from the “land of Mewars” (Rajasthan) to Ahmedabad in search of livelihood.

Jay Bhavani Vadapav is among the fastest-growing Indian fast food chains in the world. Jay Bhavani Vadapav was Co-founded by Kishan Singh Rajput and his three brothers in the year 1998 with the emerging craze for Vadapav in Ahmedabad city. They started their journey on the pavement of CG road, with very little in their hands. All they had was four wheels, a lip-smacking recipe of Ambavadi Vadapav, and a vision to raise it as high than highest.

They kept adding value to product and strengthening the menu with no compromise in taste, savour and cherish for generations to come.

They also ensured that there are enough entry barriers for the competitor and have become a volume player keeping a tight control on the price line. Doing so the Franchise gets faster returns to the investment and becomes multilocation franchisee.
